FAQ
Does Meta charge for account recovery?
No. Meta's recovery tools are free, for example facebook.com/hacked and instagram.com/hacked. The kit helps you prepare so you never need a stranger's help.
Can you get my account back?
No. Only Meta decides account outcomes. Meta Armor is a do-it-yourself plan to lower the odds of a lockout and to be ready if one happens.
Someone DMed me offering to recover my account.
Don't pay. Those offers are scams. The kit's scam section explains how to spot and report them.
Will you need my login?
Never. We never ask for passwords, codes or account access.
